Our team of care coaches are here to listen, learn about your challenges, and support you in anyway they can.

Our service is designed to alleviate stress, anxiety and to improve the wellbeing for carers wherever we can.

YourTime connects you with a specialist Care Coach that will listen to what you have to say, as well as provide you with support and guidance towards trusted resources. 

We can offer guidance on the following areas:

  • What financial support is available to you such as Universal Credit or Carer’s Allowance

  • What assistance is available to you when managing time with your family, such as how to get assistance with your caring duties

  • How to take care of your physical health and mental well-being

  • How to approach your employer for support in your caring role

  • Whatever else is on your mind

We are here to help guide you towards the best solutions that support you and your caring role.

Everything we do has been designed by carers, for carers.

1) What is the carer support call?

We understand that being a carer can often feel isolating and lonely, particularly during the COVID-19 restrictions. YourTime is a personal call service between yourself and one of our Bridgit Care Coaches, where they provide carer support in whatever area is needed. We created YourTime as we know how important it is to confide in others for the sake of your mental well-being. A YourTime call lasts for 30 minutes and it is your opportunity to talk, share, and learn about what the best course of action is for you and your loved one.

2) How can the carer support call call help me?

A YourTime call can help you talk about and work through any important problems or challenges you are experiencing as a carer.

We are here to advise you on any issue that is affecting you. If you would like some information about a certain subject, or if you just want to talk to someone and get things off your chest, we are here for you.

3) Do you provide support for all types of carers?

Whether you are a live-in carer or live a significant distance from the one you care for, we can provide personalized guidance and solutions to help you and your loved one. 

If you care for someone and are not paid for it, aside from any government assistance, we can help you. 

4) What sort of things can I talk about?

Whatever you want!
You can use the carer support call to speak about whatever challenges or issues are going on for you. As a YourTime call time is 30 minutes, it may be worth prioritizing what is most important to you during this initial call.

5) I'm not sure how I will feel talking to someone about my problems

We understand that the call may seem strange and daunting initially, but all of our Care Coaches are fully trained and have years of experience. They will help you feel comfortable and get the most out of your call. Don’t worry if you get upset during the call, as our calls are confidential and are a safe space for you to express however you are feeling.

6) What qualifications and training do the care coaches have?

All of our Care Coaches have either been a carer or have experience in the caring industry. They have all been trained in a wide variety of caring subjects and techniques, in order to bring you the most up-to-date and accurate information.

7) Do I have to be on a video call?

Not at all, you can choose whether you speak to us via video or phone call when you click on the Google Meets link that is sent to you on your confirmation email. The Google meets link gives you the option to dial in and talk to us on a Google Meets phone call, rather a Google Meets video call.
