Bridgit Care Now Available in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace
Together we are working to help customers transform their businesses, and we’re delivering impactful, human-centered solutions with social impact to the market every day.
Bridgit Care “Helping Family Carers around the World” today announced the availability of their Bridgit Family Carer Support Service in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, an online store providing applications and services for use on Azure.
Bridgit Cares customers can now take advantage of the productive and trusted Azure cloud platform, with streamlined deployment and management.
Around the globe 1 in 8 of us provide informal care or support to a friend or family member.
With ongoing pressures in our health system, family members of patients struggle to receive the support they deserve. Often left alone to care for a loved one with little help from professionals or organisations.
Bridgit Cares digital service provides an online support application with over 70 modules of support for informal carers. The app automatically creates a bespoke plan for the carer with advice, guidance, local events, and services to support them.
This support helps the carer in their caring role, as well as in their own lives, to access education, benefits, health support or make more social connections.
After accessing the online support tool, the carer receives access to the online Bridgit Carer Support Team and regular personalised support emails with tips and upcoming events.
It’s estimated by Carers UK that informal family carers provide £19,336 per year to support our health system, and for £10 per carer we are now providing this 12-month digital carer package to support them.
This service is available to local government organisations that would like to improve the support they provide to informal carers, and improve carer and patient outcomes in their locality.
This service is also available to employers that want to support employees with caring responsibilities, providing much needed support to their teams, and also helping improve productivity while in the workplace.
Between now and December 1st 2022 and in support of this press release you can access and try the support service in the UK for free at:

“Including our family carer support service as part of the Azure Marketplace provides us with a great opportunity to broaden our social impact both inside the UK and abroad. With 1 billion family carers around the globe there are a lot of people needing support. Azure can help us scale this impact”
