Last week, Bridgit Care was invited by Agewell as part of a UK/Canada government trade mission to visit Toronto, laying the groundwork for their Canadian launch.
The challenges faced by caregivers in Canada closely mirror those in the UK, with approximately 1 in 4 working people serving as family caregivers. Alarmingly, there are roughly 80 caregivers for every physician.
Bridgit Care recognizes that supporting this community represents a tremendous opportunity to alleviate the strain on our healthcare system as the population ages.
