BRIDGIT CARE SHIPPING AND SALES PROCEDURE
By placing an order with Bridgit Care you are accepting the terms and conditions set out below. If you have any queries about these please call us on 0345 528 0008 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You confirm that all information and details provided by you to us (including on registration) are true, accurate and up to date in all respects and at all times. You can update or correct your details at any time by going to Your Account.
1.1 All payments must be made at the time of purchase.
1.2 If you experience any payment or order completion issues, please contact us via our telephone or email.
1.3 Payment can be made by Switch, Paypal and most major credit/debit cards. All card payments are subject to authorisation by your card issuer.
1.4 Please note that completion of the online checkout process does not constitute our acceptance of your offer to purchase products from us. Our acceptance of your order will take place only when we despatch the product(s) that you ordered from us.
1.5 We will notify you by email as soon as possible to acknowledge that we have received and are processing your order.
2.1 All prices are correct at time of purchase, but are subject to change at Bridgit Care’s discretion.
2.2 All prices are exclusive of VAT, however VAT exemption can be used upon completion of the VAT exemption form.
2.3 All prices are displayed in pounds sterling.
3.1 UK Standard Delivery is £3.95, free UK delivery is also available on orders over £125.
3.2 In stock items can take between 2-5 days for delivery. (Please note dispatch is normally within 24 hours of receiving your order excluding weekends)
3.2 Your order will be delivered via Royal Mail or Parcel Force depending on the cost and items within the order.
3.3 In the unlikely event your item goes missing and does not arrive after 10 working days have passed, Bridgit Care will re-ship your order at the companies expense and make a claim on your behalf.
3.4 Unfortunately we cannot deliver on a bank holiday or Sundays.
3.5 Occasionally an item may be out of stock. In this situation we will try to contact you by phone or email and offer the option to cancel your order for a full refund if you would rather not wait or receive a suitable alternative.
3.6 Some of our products are made to order so will need more time to be delivered. Under the Distance Selling Regulations, we have 30 days to deliver to you, but we always strive to deliver as quickly as possible.
3.7 Delivery will be to the UK address specified in your order. If no one is available at a residential address at the time of delivery, a note will be left to advise whether your order has been left in a safe place.
4.1 Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013) (“CCR”) you have a right to cancel all or part of your contract at any time up to 14 days after the day on which you receive the goods, without giving any reason.
4.2 For Bridgit Care to consider the return of goods under these circumstances, the goods must be in mint re-saleable condition and packaged in their original packaging.
4.3 We cannot accept the return of certain items for hygiene reasons, if they have been used or the seal has been broken. This applies particularly (but not exclusively) to toileting and bathing equipment, incontinence items, mattresses and adjustable divan beds.
4.4 We cannot accept the return of made to measure items which have been made to your specification.
4.5 Any cancellations must be requested by email or telephone as soon as possible after the order has been made.
4.6 If you do cancel within the agreed terms, then you will be entitled to a full refund within 30 days of the date of cancellation.
4.7 We will not be responsible for any loss or damage to your items being returned to us in transit and, for this reason, we recommend that you use a recorded delivery service (i.e. tracked and insured). If products returned directly by you are lost or damaged in transit, we reserve the right not to refund any amounts attributable to such loss or damage. If you are returning items we must be notified before return. In the event of cancellation we will not bear the cost of returning the goods.
5.1 Unless otherwise stated a 12 month guarantee applies to all products, with the exception of disposable and limited life products. The warranty is only valid provided the item has been used in accordance with the manufacturer instructions.
5.2 If any goods do not conform to the warranty and where we are notified within 12 months of the delivery date, Bridgit Care will, at its option, either replace goods found not to conform to the warranty, or bring goods into merchantable quality, or take back the goods found not to conform to the warranty and refund the appropriate part of the purchase price. We reserve the right to inspect the product before refund or replacement.
6.1 You are a consumer as defined by the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, your statutory rights are not affected by these conditions.
7.1 We have taken reasonable precautions to try to ensure that prices quoted on our website are correct and that all products have been fairly described.
7.2 Whilst we try to display the colours of our products accurately on our website, the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor and we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.
8.1 Bridgit Care are only responsible for losses that are a natural, foreseeable consequence of our breach of these General Terms and Conditions. We will not be liable to you if we are prevented or delayed from complying with our obligations under these Terms and Conditions by anything you (or anyone acting on your behalf) does or fails to do.
8.2 You must follow any advice we give you to keep products we supply to you safe (including any instructions or product manuals provided with the products). We cannot accept liability for damage to products we have supplied which is caused by your failure to follow this advice.
